Damn straight! Fenris may be a sweet thing to look at, have fantastic legs, a bulge to titilate, and a flawless ass, but, dammit, Merrill is Isa’s Kitten. Her baby. And fuck everyone who says something mean about/to her.

She’s super protective of Merrill, which is one of the many reasons I looooove Merrilbela. Even with a F!Hawke Friendmance, it’s just not the same. I feel like Isa and Merrill approach each other on a more even footing. 

Isabela gets to show Merrill the ropes of human society and find herself without allowing her to succumb to that self-doubt and ‘I need your love Hawke to have any self worth’ that really turns me off of the Merrillmance :\

This is one of the many, many reasons why I love Isabela. She sees that there’s something in Merrill, something worth cherishing, and she nurtures her and protects her. I feel like if you don’t romance either of them, both of them run off into the sunset on Izzy’s boat and they have awesome adventures together.
